The Concussion Bootcamp is a constantly evolving crash course in concussion, covering the following:

  • The most recent definition of concussion from the Amsterdam Concussion Consensus
  • The 2023 ACRM diagnostic criteria of concussion
  • Mastering and performing the SCAT5 and discussing upcoming changes in the SCAT6
  • Performing and interpreting the VOMS
  • Identifying and evaluating the 5 subtypes of concussion and associated syndromes
  • Evaluating each subtype and syndrome
  • A high-level overview of the phylogenetic development of the sensory system of humankind
  • Discussing sensory-motor dysfunction in concussion
  • Identifying and performing subtype-specific rehabilitation procedures that can be implemented immediately at little to no cost
